The 5 Keys To Applying for housing:
Key #1
To be eligible for community housing at least one non-dependent member of the Applicant Household must meet one of the following criteria:

Determine your household's maximum income category by using the current years' Area Median Income table within the current Income Limits.
Key #3
Educate yourself on the home buying process through the Idaho Housing and Finance (IHFA) "Finally Home!" class. This course is an introduction to all of the steps you will take in purchasing a community home. Completion of the "Finally Home!" Home Buyers class can qualify you for down payment and closing cost assistance.
You have two ways to complete the course:

Complete the RESIDENTIAL LOAN APPLICATION FORM with your bank or mortgage lender. In this way you can learn whether or not there are any financial roadblocks to you in securing a home loan. A copy of your three credit scores is part of your BCHA Community Housing file. BCHA staff is qualified to work with you in resolving any credit issues. A letter from your lender to BCHA establishes your readiness as a home buyer.

Keep your BCHA Community Housing application information up-to-date so that you can easily be contacted and to ensure that you will be placed correctly on the community home priority lists.
Key #1
To be eligible for community housing at least one non-dependent member of the Applicant Household must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be a full-time employee working in Blaine County
- Or be a retired person who was a full-time Blaine County employee immediately prior to retirement and currently living in Blaine County as their primary residence.

This course is an introduction to all of the steps you will take in purchasing a community home. Completion of the "Finally Home!" 788-2033, to find out when the next class is scheduled - Or complete the course online at Idaho Housing's Website.
