emergency housing assistance
Emergency Financial Assistance: The Blaine County Charitable Fund provides financial assistance to households that live and/or work in Blaine County who are experiencing an unanticipated financial hardship. Assistance can include (but is not limited to) housing, utilities, transportation and health care. Programs include emergency rental assistance, rent burden gap assistance, first/last/deposit assistance, rapid relief for one-time emergency needs, and temporary emergency housing assistance.

Landlord-Tenant Mediation: The Housing Mediation Project is a free mediation program that provides Blaine County landlords and tenants with an avenue for resolving housing-related issues without filing an eviction with the court. It is available to landlords considering filing for eviction and tenants facing eviction.

Transitional, month-to-month Housing: Provided by Blaine County Housing Authority. Submit a common intake form by clicking "Apply for Community Housing" in the main menu.
Are you disabled and experiencing homelessness? Please contact South Central Community Action Partnership (SCCAP) at (208)733-9351 as this is the regional office that covers households in Blaine County. When you call, ask for Jennifer or Lorena (bilingual) to get screened as they have additional resources and special programs where they find housing and support tenants during their tenancy.
