Affordable Housing in Blaine County

The Blaine County Housing Authority Board established the Blaine County Housing Foundation, Inc. in 2019 to accept donations and grants in support of its mission. The Foundation is governed by a separate Board and is a tax-exempt, nonprofit corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its purpose is to plan, finance, preserve , and promote affordable and workforce housing, as well as provide education and support for homelessness prevention and housing needs for Blaine County's workers and full-time residents.

How you can help

You can donate by mailing a check to:
      Blaine County Housing Foundation
      P.O. Box 4045
      Ketchum, ID 83340

Finally, you can make a difference by joining in efforts to advocate for the attainable housing for all of the people of Blaine County. All it takes is a conversation with a friend, neighbor, elected leader, or your employer. Together, we can make a positive impact for our community!

join us for avenues for hope!

Avenues for Hope is a statewide day of giving powered by the strength of social media and community collaboration. This initiative, led by the Home Partnership Foundation, brings people together to make a lasting impact. Your donations will go towards rental subsidies for households who have experienced homelessness, are in BCHA’s transitional housing, and are unable to cover the entirety of monthly rent due to an unforeseen crisis or situation. Your donations will enable these households to become and or remain housed, reducing the risk of homelessness and its associated challenges. These funds will provide critical assistance to renters when existing rental assistance resources are inaccessible because of program criteria or urgent housing needs.

By alleviating the financial burden of rent, residents are better able to allocate resources toward food, healthcare, and other essential needs. This support will not only improve their immediate quality of life but also contribute to long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Your support means the world to us, and to the households who rely on safe, stable housing in Blaine County.

The campaign runs from December 10th-December 31st. Your donations will go towards rental subsidies for households experiencing homelessness. Your support means the world to us and to the families who depend on safe, stable housing in Blaine County. Every contribution helps build a stronger, more secure future for our community.

Join us. Give hope. Change lives.
