Fair Housing Resources

It is illegal to discriminate in the sale or rental of housing, including against individuals seeking a mortgage or housing assistance, or in other housing-related activities. The Fair Housing Act prohibits this discrimination because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability.

If you feel that you have been the victim of illegal discrimination in any housing transaction (purchase, rental, or real estate listing), please click the button below to fill out an online complaint form through HUD's Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity or call 800-877-0246 to speak to an intake specialist.

REquest for PRoPOSALS

Blaine County Housing Authority is seeking the services of a qualified and experienced consultant or firm to conduct an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice for the geographic scope of Blaine County, Idaho, including individual findings and recommendations for each of its 6 component jurisdictions (Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey, Bellevue, Carey and unincorporated Blaine County).

Proposals are due September 8, 2024 at 11:59 pm MT.

Questions:
  • Is there a defined timeline for this work?
    • Completion of the analysis - or at least preliminary results -  in December 2024 would be ideal to help inform ongoing zoning code amendments across multiple Blaine County jurisdictions, however, BCHA seeks realistic timing proposals and will prioritize quality and thoroughness over production speed.
